Connie's Sour Dough Buttermilk

INGREDIENTS
2c flour
1t salt
1/2t soda
1t baking powder
1/2 butter
1/2c buttermilk
1c sourdough starter
melted butter

DIRECTIONS
Sift together flour, salt, baking soda and powder. Using pastry blender or fork cut in butter to look like cornmeal. Mix together buttermilk and starter. Add to flour mixture to form a soft dough. Turn out onto floured surface and knead for 30 seconds. Roll dough to about 1" and cut out with biscuit cutter or used can. Place on greased cookie sheet. Let rest for 30 minutes. Bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes about a dozen.
